The tone of this article is a bit strange. Can someone make it sound more encyclopedia-like?

Let me be blunt about the quality of this article

As the subject says, I'll be blunt: at least the last three paragraphs should be outright deleted. Who writes this shit? There are neither citations nor references (likely because they couldn't be found). What is there: a display of a poor grasp of the nuances of well-honed English grammar and composition. Bottom line: I felt like I was reading a panty-fetishist's fan fiction piece. I'm sorry, but talking about what someone is supposedly going to do with a pair of panties when they get them DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A WELL WRITTEN OR INFORMED ENCYCLOPEDIA ARTICLE.

Furthermore, the lack of balance between standard panty fetish and this Japanese variant is misguided. Quite likely, the reason that there have been nominations for mergers stems from the poor balance between the two subjects -- yeah, I would be motivated to merge an article too if the general portion contained a paragraph, and the discussion of an offshoot had seven or eight paragraphs. But this is a function of some highly biased work, and nothing more. The general section needs to be buffed up.

I can't believe I just wasted my valuable time critiquing this piece of shit. Good luck. Maybe someone will read this and say: hey, that's not a bad idea. I know the wikipedia motto is "Be bold", but I'm not going to touch this shit with a ten foot pole, because, quite frankly, I don't have the time to monitor what I'm sure will be the revisions of 1,000 masturbating Japanese panty-fan boys. However, if anyone does have the mental acumen and the time to properly cut a huge chunk of this shit-o-rama spectacular and add some actual, well-founded information (an INFORMED and TEXTBOOK REFERENCING discussion of the psychological aspects perhaps; a historical section would also be nice) then please go ahead and do so.

The mental link between the panties and their true owner will usually be present, and the fetishist will imagine as he masturbates that he is with the owner, either having sex or ejaculating over the panties as they are worn.

There is another form of what may be considered a panty fetish which involves no sexual desire. This is expressed as the desire or need for a male to wear panties. The vast majority of these men wear panties for differing reasons. Most find panties are more comfortable to wear compared to typical male briefs or boxers. They also enjoy the variety of styles and fabrics available. Others may use them as a method to express their softer or "feminine" side. They do not necessarily see them as sexual objects, but simply as another form of clothing. Some men may also wear panties and other female attire in cross-dressing."

Without attribution this is not worth much. When the facts are re-added with proper attribution they will have to be worded differently to reflect the article cited.
